Beatriz was featured as one of the up and coming brands by buyers at the last Premiere Classe Tuilleries held September 28 to October 1, 2018 in Paris. In the October 11, 2018 issue of the iconic of Womens Wear Daily (WWD), one of the Beatriz X Lou Leygnac collaboration bags were considered as one of the highlights of the show. The brand designer Carissa Cruz Evangelista collaborated with noted Paris based artist Lou Leygnac known for her graphic modern art aesthetic and talent in coloration. The inspiration of the pieces were the sculptural, bold graphic designs rendered in dazzling colors using cotton thread. The brand employed under privileged Philippine women’s communities to create the amazing patterns hand glued line by line.

Sami Joseph Alpark, the head buyer for Alysra Fashion, a major Middle Eastern retailer adored the fledgling global brand Beatriz and its story of employing underprivileged women. He said that “I love the boldness and originality of the bags. They are really works of art, and the price point is accessible.
